On Sunday, April 4, 2021, Abel Gonzalez-Martinez, passed away at the age 86 surrounded by his loving family.

Abel was born on November 25, 1934 in the City of La Calera, in the State of Guanajuato, Mexico. In early 1980’s, Abel migrated to the United States and began his employment at Giorgi Mushroom Co. where he eventually retired from.

He is survived by his wife Carmen Gonzalez-Cisneros and 4 children, Francisco Javier Gonzalez husband of Katherine Gonzalez, Marcelino Gonzalez husband of Guadalupe Garcia, Maria Elizabeth Gonzalez wife of Silvino Valdez, and Abel Gonzalez husband of Maria Beltran del Rio. He is also survived by 2 sisters, 11 grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces, nephews and great grandchildren. He is predeceased by both his parents and 3 siblings.

At Abel’s request, no services will be held.

A private memorial service with scattering of ashes will be held at a future date.
