Arlene Hackman

Arlene Godshall Hackman, age 74, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Reading Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born July 24, 1949 in Norristown, PA to the late John and Iva (Godshall) Hackman. Arlene attended Souderton High School and went on to Montgomery County Community College where she earned an Associate's Degree. She later worked at Spectracolor Reynolds in Cherry Hill, NJ. Arlene lived at Sunny Crest Homes in Morgantown, PA from 2008 to 2019 and then Spruce Manor Nursing Home, Reading PA, to the present. She was friendly, outgoing and generous with the many people she met along the way. She was devoted to her faith in Jesus and loved gospel music.

Arlene is survived by five siblings: John Wesley Hackman, Joyce Corcoran, Jane (Jack) Hobson, Margie Adison, and David Hackman. She also has eight nieces, one nephew and 15 great-nieces and nephews. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronald Hackman and her sister Sallie Ann Lee.

 A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 1 Hartford Rd., Medford, NJ 08055.
