Barbara Silverberg

Barbara Silverberg, 76, of Berks County, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2025 after a brief illness. 

Barbara was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, earned a bachelor's degree from Penn State, and moved to Reading in 1975. She received her Masters of Social Work from Marywood University in 1998 and was passionate about her career as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and attending cultural events. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Dewees and Margaret Coldren, and a brother, Larry. She is survived by a daughter, Shari Walsh, wife of Brian, who helped Barbara realize her most treasured role, as Grandmom to her beloved grandson Grady and granddaughter Rowan.
