Charles Thomas Huck

Charles Thomas Huck (Tom), 78, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, died peacefully on Saturday, January 30, 2021.  

Tom was born in 1942 to Charles John (Charlie) and Ruth McGeary Huck.  He graduated from West Chester High School in 1960 and then went on to marry Jayne Jamieson in 1965.  Tom and Jayne lived in Elmira, New York for a short time, and then moved to Towson, Maryland, where they spent many years building their lives and raising their children.  Tom eventually moved back to the West Chester area, where he was able to reconnect with childhood friends.

Tom was a kind and generous man who left those he met with great memories and many laughs. He was destined to be the life of any party and was always looking for that next adventure to enjoy with family and friends.

Tom is survived by his three children and their spouses: Stephanie Huck and Steve Kline, of Towson, Maryland; Andrew Huck and Kali Azzi-Huck, of Potomac, Maryland; and Michael and Jennifer Huck, of San Diego, California.  Also surviving him are his five grandchildren:  Miles and Henry Kline; Sami, Daniel, and Norah Huck; and his sister, Bonnie van der Meer, of St. Louis, Missouri.

A private ceremony was held this week in Pennsylvania.  The family hopes to schedule a Celebration of Life later this year, to be held in Towson, Maryland, and asks that any donations made in Tom’s honor go to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
