Charles D. Mathews Jr., 66, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Born in Oklahoma City, OK., Charles was the husband of Valerie Mae (Smith) Mathews. They reside in Bernville, PA. Charles was known for his great sense of humor and loving character. He proudly served in The United States Army from 1977-1980 as a Military Police officer. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to his family. He is survived by daughter, Lauren Mathews and wife Kristin, son Charles D. Mathews III and wife Jessica, and predeceased by daughter Amanda Mathews. Additionally, there are five grandchildren, sister Cathy Belton and husband Bill, Brother Curt Mathews and wife Peggie, Brother Louis Horkan Jr, Sister Trish Horkan and wife Kelly, Sister-in-law Sandy Koch and husband James, and Brother-in-law Sean Farrell and wife Mary.
