Mr. Clayton J. Lando Jr., 81 of Temple, Pennsylvania, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 peacefully in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Lando was born on October 1, 1940 in South Philadelphia. Later in life he relocated to West Lawn, Pennsylvania where he graduated from Wilson High School. At the age of 17, Mr. Lando joined the United States Marine Corps in 1957. During his service he served two tours in Vietnam. Proudly serving his country for twenty years, he retired in 1977.
In Mr. Lando's free time, he enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family, going to Knoebels, and cuddling up on the coach with his dogs, watching tv. He was happily married Lillian Morgan for forty three years. Together, they lived a beautiful life and had two children, Tiffany and Anthony.
He will be dearly missed by his wife; daughter, Tiffany Garcia and her husband, Joseph Garcia, of Shillington; son, Anthony Lando and his wife Amber Lando of Bethlehem Township; sister-in-law, Anne Lando, of Temple; and granddaughters, Lillian Lando and Joselynn Garcia.
He was the son of the late Clayton J. Lando Sr. and the late Elsie Heckman. In addition to his parents, Clayton was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Heckman, Lucy Seaman, Judy Stephens, and a brother, Edwin Lando.
Services will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 10AM at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road Annville, PA 17003. A celebration of life will be held Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1PM at Rosedale Camp Grove, 1616 Vine Street Laureldale, PA 19605.
