Darlene Williams Obituary

Darlene P. Williams (nee Keeley), 74, of Bechtelsville, PA formerly of Royersford, PA, passed away at her home on October 10, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond G. Williams, loving mother of Michael B. Krieger (Tina) and Kristine L. Krieger, and cherished grandmother of Rhyan Krieger-Ward, Assunta Krieger, and Michael Krieger. She is also survived by her sister Debbie Marinelli, former spouse Michael W. Krieger Jr. (Patricia), many nieces and nephews, and her faithful canine companion Stella.

Born March 20, 1947 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Miller) Keeley. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her brothers Jack, Bobby, Jimmy, Jerry, and Ronald Keeley.

Darlene worked in the banking industry for over two decades. She began her career with Continental Bank in Lansdale, PA, and later worked for First Union Bank in Holmes Beach, Fl and Cherry Hill, NJ before retiring in 2002.

Darlene stayed active throughout most of her life. She loved gardening, traveling, walking, going to the gym, and visiting with friends and family. She and her late husband Ray were members of the Lakes Corvette Club in Medford Lakes, NJ until his passing in 2004. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. Darlene lived her life to the absolute fullest and loved with all her heart. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff of Bayada Hospice and the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine Valley Forge for their compassionate care.

Relatives and friends are invited to Darlene’s memorial service on Friday, November 5, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at Washington Memorial Chapel, 2000 Valley Forge Park Rd, King of Prussia, PA 19406. Interment to immediately follow in the church cemetery. Contributions in her memory may be made to Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine.
