Dean Dilliplaine Obituary

Dean A. Dilliplaine, of Reading PA, died at home surrounded by his family on 10/18/2023. He was 57 years young. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2022 and fought a very long and very courageous battle to the very end.

Dean was born in Reading, PA on March 15 th , 1966, to Faith T (Fulmer) Dilliplaine and Terry D. Dilliplaine. He graduated from Wilson School District after which, he proudly served in the United States Air Force. His love of working on airplanes led him to go back to school after being discharged to earn his aircraft mechanic certificate from Quaker City Institute of Aviation in Philadelphia, PA. Dean was an extremely hard worker and an excellent provider for his family. He was last employed with GAF in Myerstown, PA. He loved the work that he did at GAF as well as all the guys he worked with. Everyone who knew Dean knew how passionate he was about hunting every year. He also very much-loved watching sports especially NASCAR, PENN State and STEELERS football, and the FLYERS hockey team. In the past Dean loved going camping in his fifth wheel with his family and friends. Presently, he loved to go to Deer Camp every summer in the
mountains for vacation. He also had a passion for rock music and going to concerts. Dean will always be remembered for his quick wit and humor. He was always able to make people laugh right up to the very end.

Dean fought long and hard after his diagnosis with cancer-his wife at his side every step of the way. He was determined to continue to live, however God decided it was time to bring him home. We will miss him every day and his memory will live on in those who loved him.

Dean is preceded in death by his niece, Brooke Dilliplaine. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Puzewski) Dilliplaine, his parents-Faith and Terry Dilliplaine-his
children, Daniel and Alyson Dilliplaine, his brother and sister-in-law Bobby and Tara Dilliplaine and a niece, Grace Dilliplaine, a nephew, Sean Dilliplaine, as well
as multiple aunts, uncles and cousins. Dean also leaves behind his closest and most loyal fur baby companion, Daizy Mae. The two of them were inseparable.
