Deneen Lee Shade

April 24, 1964 ~ June 12, 2022 (age 58)


Deneen Lee Shade (Dee) 58, of Mertztown PA passed away peacefully June 12, 2022 in her home surrounded by family. She had been put on Hospice Care after fighting cancer for many years.

She was born April 24, 1964, in Philadelphia PA, she was the daughter of George "Bud" Hain and Dolores (Errickson) Hain.

Deneen grew up in Croyden PA and enjoyed spending time with her best friends, Cindy and Karen.

She later lived a full life in Schuylkill County with her husband who she married February 11, 2011, Charles C. Shade III and her two daughters, Ashlee Hain and Alexis Tice.

Deneen loved spending time with her family and drinking her Guers Tea. She was an amazing person and did everything she could for her family. She spent her Sundays going to church or singing and dancing with her daughters to some country music. 

She was preceded in death by her father, George Hain, her mother, Dolores Hain, and her two brothers, Dale and Dana Hain.

Deneen is survived by her husband, Charles C. Shade III, her sister, Deborah Stubbs (Ed), her brothers Daniel Hain (Holly) and Dennis Hain (Millissa), and her three daughters, Jeanette Roundtree, Ashlee Hain, and Alexis Tice. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, cousin. She will be dearly missed by her many family members and friends.

As of right now, there will be no service or memorial. She had a private cremation.
