Donald Gene Boyer, Sr.

Donald Gene Boyer, Sr., 70, of Sinking Spring, died May 1, 2021 at Tower Health – Reading Hospital, West Reading.

Born, June 15, 1950, in Reading, he was a son of the late John Harvey Boyer, Sr. and Dorothy P. (Ziegenfuss) Boyer.

Donald was an exceptional heavy equipment operator and truck driver for over 40 years.  He was always there for anyone in need.  He could fix absolutely anything.  Golf was his passion, his getaway.  He truly loved to play golf.  He played with close friends and with his three sons.  Donald also loved to watch golf and nascar.  

Surviving are his four children: Donald G. Boyer, Jr., husband of Yvonne Boyer of Schenectady, NY; Susan, wife of Josh Bulliner of West Lawn; Matthew, husband of Josephine Boyer of Cumru Township; and Daniel Boyer of Sinking Spring.

Other survivors include his four grandchildren: Mikayla Boyer, Cody Boyer, Levi Boyer and Savannah Bulliner.

Also surviving is his sister, Mary Cunningham of Wernersville.

Donald was preceded in death by his two brothers, John Boyer, Jr. And Gary Boyer, and by a sister, Linda Boyer.
