Erik Christian Pinkston, a resident of Tucson, AZ, died unexpectedly on June 20, 2025,
at the age of 54 in Allentown, PA. He worked as a Truck Driver for much of his life and
was known for his love of motorcycles.
Erik is survived by his wife, Benita Huizar-Pinkston; his daughter, Kristin Kay Pinkston
both of Fort Worth, TX; five brothers, Marcus Thompson of Tucson, AZ; Derek (Jacquie)
Parker of Philadelphia, PA; Scott Parker of Princeton, TX; Jordan (Nicole) Parker of Fort
Worth, TX; Kenneth Pinkston of Edinburg, TX; two sisters, Margaret (John) Vercher of
Austin, TX; Heather (Ron) Warren of Mason City, IA. He is preceded in death by his
parents, Edward Gregory Pinkston Jr. and Virginia Parker Pinkston; William Nichols
Parker and Barbara Ann Hudgins Parker; and his siblings, Roma Alexandria Parker and
Mitchell Glen Tompson. He is also remembered by many friends, and others who knew
him during different chapters of his life.
As arranged by family, he will be cremated, and his ashes will be spread at a later time.
No formal service is currently planned. In lieu of flowers, those who wish to honor his
memory are encouraged to donate to The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation in his
name.
