Gary J Timmins

Gary J. Timmins, 74 of Emmaus, passed away August 1, 2024 in the hospice unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John C. Timmins and Zelda (Miller) Timmins.

Gary proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Catholic War Vets, Fire Companies #1 and #2 and the American Legion Post 191.

He took great pride in honoring his fellow veterans by participating in funeral processions as sergeant at arms with his legion and activities with the Emmaus Veterans Committee.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Trumbauer and husband Kevin of Macungie; sons Jay Timmins and wife Christine of Zionsville, Jacob Timmins and wife Stefanie of Alburtis; granddaughters, Paige, Olivia, Chloe and Pearl; sisters Patricia Afflerbach of Center Valley, Cheryl Timmins of Allentown; brother Kirk Timmins and wife Marilyn of Center Valley and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother-in-law Donald Afflerbach.

Services will be private at a later date.
