George G. Stichter, Jr., 61, of Reading, lost his battle of eight months with lung cancer.
He was the son of the late George G., Sr., and Patricia (Swalley).
George married his wife of 42 years, Cheryl (Maurer) Stichter.
Survivors are his sisters, Pat, Dorothy, Terry, and the late Roxanne (Swalley). And brothers Kenny and late Keith Stichter, all from Florida.
He leaves behind three children, Tammy, Shaun, and Heather. Of Reading
George also leaves behind twelve grandkids he just adored and loved so very much: Julian, Juliana, Ethan, Gabriella, Abel, Josiah, Lyleeana, Kylee, Abbey, Emma, Nevaeh, and Janiesa.
The family would like to send a special "thank you" to the care team of "Caring Hospice" , in Fort Washington PA.
George loved his church in Fleetwood.
He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
George was a very caring soul. He would give his shirt off of his back for who ever would need it.
Services will be held at Fleetwood Bible Church. In George's memory come dressed in Hawaiian Shirts.
