Henry Edward Lisoski, age 68, peacefully passed away at home on February 14, 2022, Cressona. Henry was born in Pottsville on September 15, 1953 to the late Henry Lisoski and Theresa Murray. He married his life long companion Bette Mae on August 25, 1973 and with equal parts strength and love, they remained together for 48 years until his passing. In that time, they happily raised three children.
Henry was a lighthearted, comical and an easy going soul who loved his family and gave the biggest hugs, he also enjoyed “b” rated horror films, his dogs, cars and was a die hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He attended Minersville High School.
Henry was born and raised in Schuylkill County and remained from and of the “Skook” until the day he died.
Henry was retired, prior to retiring he worked at Guilford Mills, Pine Grove. He held many jobs over his 41 years, lastly being a utility man.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Lisoski and his brother, Michael Lisoski. Surviving are his wife, Bette Mae; his mother, Theresa, wife of Edward Murray; his son Bertram Mullins; his daughter Heather, wife of Howard Dickey; his daughter Amanda Jefferson; his grandchildren-Joshua, Tristan, Kyle, Julia, Chloe, Addison and Brayden; great grandchildren-Serenity, Walker and Malaki; his sister Donna, wife of Craig Clauser; his sister, Lynn, wife of David Stinnett; his brother Edward; husband of Bobbi; his sister, Lisa Murray; and nieces and nephews.
Henry will be missed by anyone that knew him and remembered by everyone who loved him.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 19, at Covenant United Methodist Church, 215 E Main Street, Schuylkill Haven. Friends may call from 10a.m. until the time of the service.
