Janice Washington Obituary

Janice Arlene Washington, 82 of Reading passed away peacefully at her home on April 18, 2021.

Born November 29, 1938 in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Ira Lee and Mary Ann (Saab) Thompson.

Janice worked for many years as a medical secretary in the cardiology department at the Reading Hospital until retirement.

She is survived by her daughter; Alicia A Lee (Washington) of Reading and her grandchildren ; Tiara N Tidmore Reading PA , and her grandson Tyler E Washington (Philadelphia) . Tiara's children: Kaiden T Grant (great-grandson) and Zoe T Smith (great-granddaughter)

Also surviving is her sister: Joyce H Beckett (Thompson) Reading PA.

In addition are nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son James E Washington II and siblings; William L Thompson (deceased), Stephan L Thompson (deceased),Linda A Pace (Thompson) deceased, Kathy L Seck (Thompson) and a niece.
