John Franklin Reed

John Franklin Reed, 57, of Reading, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Reading Hospital. 

Born July 24, 1964 in Reading, he was son of Charles Franklin Reed Sr. and Janet Elaine (DeLong) Reed. 

John worked as a spring mechanic for Reading Auto Springs. 

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and drinking beer. John also loved listening to country music. 

John is survived by his sisters: Elaine Marie (Reed) Mitchell, wife of the late George Mitchell, Janet Marie Reed, Jamie Marie (Reed) Brango, married to Bruno, Robin (Reed) Angle, married to JT, and Regina (Reed) Burns. In addition, he is survived by his brothers: Charles Franklin Reed Jr and Rodney Reed, married to Shelley. He leaves behind seven nieces and five nephews. 

He was predeceased by his parents. 

John will be laid to rest with his mother on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 10:30 at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 390 West Neversink Road Reading, 19606.
