Joyce Elaine Russo

Joyce Elaine Russo, 83, of Temple, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2022. Born on October 19, 1939, in Reading, she was the daughter of Ralph and Emma (Tischler) Mauger.

Joyce was a graduate of Reading High School. In her younger years, she worked at Berkey Textiles. She then worked in various hotels and senior living centers in the Berks County area.

Joyce was known for her sense of humor. She loved hosting “The Porch Gatherers” where ladies in her community gathered to gossip and laugh.

She is survived by two daughters: Kimberly A. Krezdorn, of New Ringgold and Marsha, wife of James Sieck, of Reading. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Ryan Krezdorn and his significant other, Yaixa Aviles; Derek Sieck; and Brianna Sieck; Great grandson, Alejandro Rubinos. Joyce is also survived by her sister, Louise Folk, of Temple. She leaves behind the light of her life, her fur baby, Chipper.

She was predeceased by her brothers, Carl and Robert Mauger.

Her friends and family will miss her dearly.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Freedom Center for Animal Life-Saving of Reading, 1729 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604.
