Judith Ann (Madara) Forster, 81, died December 30, 2022 in her Muhlenberg Township residence, surrounded by her loving family.
She was the loving wife of Joseph I. Forster, with whom she shared 29 years of marriage. Judith was preceded in death by her first husband, Neil E. Rissmiller in 1990.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Denton and Virginia M. (Hohl) Madara.
Judith was a 1959 graduate of Reading High School.
She retired from the Reading School District, where she worked in the cafeteria for 15 years.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her two children: Jeffrey S. Rissmiller, husband of Marci of Port Huron, MI; and Karen L. (Rissmiller), wife of Jeffrey J. Stehman of Sinking Spring; three stepchildren: Tammy (Forster), wife of Harold Hoff of Muhlenberg Township; Gwyn (Forster), wife of Pete Focht of Flying Hills; and Jill (Forster), wife of Kyle Schultz of Somers Point, NJ.
Other survivors include her nine grandchildren: Jake and Josh Stehman, Justin Rissler, Karley and Allie Hoff, Olivia, Ben and Ian Focht, and Zyler and Mylee Schultz; and two great grandchildren, Brayden and Hailey Stehman, and Liam Rissmiller.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
