Keith Lynn LeVan

Keith L. LeVan, 68, of Alsace Township, passed away unexpectedly on May 24th in Tower Health Reading Hospital.  Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Lee M. and Elizabeth A. (Griesemer) LeVan.

Keith graduated from Muhlenberg High School in 1971.  He retired from A.W. Golden where he worked as an automobile mechanic for 41 years.  He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle along with hunting and fishing.  When he was young he raced go carts, loved going to car races and especially the Reading Fairgrounds Speedway.

Keith will be greatly missed by his fiancée Linda Jackson.  They have been together for the last 13 years.  He also loved his dog Marilyn.  They were great buds.  He was a good pool player and taught Linda how to play. He was in a lot of tournaments when he belonged to the Northmont Fellowship Club. 

Survivors include: daughters Jennifer LeVan, Hamburg and Tisha (Chris) Hess, Muhlenberg Twp, granddaughters Katelyn Sparks, Pittsburgh and Kaya Hess, Muhlenberg Twp, sister Ellen (Tom) Knudsen, Exeter Twp and brother Glenn (Paula) LeVan, Kennewick, WA.
