Kimberlee Kay Miller

July 8, 1959 ~ February 2, 2022 (age 62)

Kimberlee Kay Miller, 62, of Wilmington, De, passed away on 02/02/22. She was born to parents Walter Palm and Shirley Palm (Wolfe), on 07/08/59 in Reading, Pa. She graduated from Mt. Penn High School in 1977.

Kimberlee worked as a Case Worker for 2 years. She also did volunteer work for Hope House Ministries in Wilmington, DE.

In 2019, Kimberlee was honored with a Delaware Service Impact Award for her volunteer work at the Hope House and for being a Life Coach to many of the women who came into the Hope House program.

Kimberlee is survived by her children: Her daughter KaLin Santillo-Herbert wife of John Santillo-Herbert of Exeter, Pa and Douglas Miller of Joliet, IL.

Kimberlee is also survived by her granddaughter, Natalie G. Santillo-Herbert, grandson Benjamin M. Santillo-Herbert, sister, Donna Donato, brother, Scott Palm Sr., and brother Bucky Palm.

There was nothing more important to her than her family and making sure they knew that they were her proudest achievement. She was the kind of friend who no matter what, always took time out of her day for anyone that needed it. Whether it was just to listen, or to let you know that she was thinking about you and wanted to say hi. She had this ability to look on the brighter side of things and bring life into any room.

The ability she had to show compassion towards others was astounding, and it was something she encouraged her children to do as well. She was more than a mother of two, she is an irreplaceable best friend.

She was a loving mother and a caring soul for all those around her. She will always be remembered and forever in our hearts.

There will be a gathering at her daughters’ house on Saturday February 12th, 2022 at 2pm. If you are interested in attending, please reach out to the family directly.
