Larry Gene Hartz

Larry Hartz, 71, died on April 28, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. 

Born September 1, 1951, he was the son of Barbara A. (Knabb) Hartz-Steffe and the late Robert Hartz. 

Larry is survived by his daughter Jessica Sypherd, wife of Adam Sypherd, two granddaughters: Eryn Bair and Sophia Lopez, one grandson: Liam Lopez, his mother, two brothers: Robert Hartz and Ron Hartz, three sisters: Bobbi Lauer, Joanne Ruppert, and Lori Weaver. He is preceded in death by his sister Betty Hartz. 

Larry was a talented artist, skilled in painting, drawing and creating stunning woodwork. He had a passion for spending time outdoors, especially his time at Blue Marsh. 

Larry's daughter and grandkids were his world, he lit up when he was around them. He was a family man and loved family gatherings. 

There will be a private memorial for immediate family to celebrate Larry.
