Larry James McClary, 68, of Reading, died May 9, 2020 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.
Born in Reading, PA on August 22, 1951, he was a son of Dock Staples and Mary L. McClary.
Larry worked for the Reading Railroad as a brakeman in the 1970's and later worked with the Boscov's Distribution Center in the 1980's.
He also worked as a greeter for Berks Encore and as crossing guard for the Reading School District.
He is survived by a daughter, Tabitha Castillo of Reading.
Other survivors include 6 grandchildren: Tyree Young, Shawn Young, Deja McClary, Rayonna McClary, Nelson Castillo and Giovanni Castillo and 3 great grandchildren.
There are also two siblings: Linda Richardson and Dennis Staples, both of Reading.
Larry was predeceased by a brother, Melvin McClary.
Cremation Society of Berks County, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
