Linnie Mae Evans

Linnie Mae Butcher Evans, Age 81 of Mertztown PA died Monday, February 21, 2022 in Promedica Nursing Facility, Sinking Springs, Pa. She was born February 21, 1941 in Chapmanville, (Logan County) West Virginia. and was the daughter of late Virginia Bias Butcher and Odell Butcher.

In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by her Husband, Todd C, Evans, of Mertztown Pa. and her two brothers of New Martinsville, WV., David Butcher Sr. and Carl Butcher Sr.

She was a devoted employee of 20 plus years to the Lyons Fire Company of Lyons, Pa., and member of the Topton American Legion and Kutztown Rod and Gun Club.

She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Linnie was an Animal Advocate and was especially devoted to the feeding and care of any and all stray cats brought into her life along with the many others that she loved and homed throughout the years.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
