Margaret Elizabeth Gibble

Margaret Elizabeth (Laucks) Gibble, 93, of Lower Heidelberg Township, died February 4, 2024 at Phoebe Berks, Wernersville. She was the widow of Earnest Earl Gibble, who passed away in March 1999.

Born in Palmyra, Lebanon County, she was a daughter of the late Frederick Scholl and Verna (Stauffer) Laucks. A graduate of Palmyra High School, she attended Lebanon Valley College before marrying and moving to Berks County. Margaret was employed as a preschool teacher at Van Reed School for Young Children and Montessori Country Day, reflecting her passion for early childhood education. A lover of the arts, she was a frequent visitor to museums and an active participant in art appreciation classes.

Surviving is her daughter, Elizabeth Dentzer, of Sinking Spring and her son, Ernie Gibble, of Chicago. A private service will be held for family and friends.
