Matthew J. Alessandroni, Jr.

Matthew Joseph Alessandroni, Jr., of Oley, passed away on April 27, 2023 at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia.

Born July 28, 1992, in Hershey, he was the son of Matthew J. Alessandroni, Sr., husband of Gabriella (Candelori) Alessandroni of Reading, and Lynnette M. (Weiland) Alessandroni, partner of Terry Moser of Oley.

He was a 2010 graduate of Cocalico High School.

Matthew absolutely loved hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed golfing, and most of all being with his son.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, is his son, August James Alessandroni of Denver; and his sister, Lindsay M. Alessandroni, partner of Shawn M. Sharpe of Womelsdorf.

Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Candace A. (Royer) Spataro of N. Myrtle Beach, SC; and his maternal grandparents, Adolph and Ruth Weiland of Butler.

Matthew was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Andrew J. Alessandroni, Jr.; his paternal step grandfather, Andrew A. Spataro; and his uncle, James G. Weiland.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 10th at 2 p.m. at Reinholds Fire Company, 138 W. Main Street, Reinholds. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college education fund for Matthew’s son August.  Donations made payable to: “Matthew Alessandroni Memorial Fund,” can be mailed to: Members 1st Federal Credit Union, 4620 W. Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, PA 19608.
