Melissa Seltzer Obituary

Melissa E. Seltzer, 63, of Shillington, died June 29, 2020 at Berks Heim, where she had been a resident for two years.

She was the loving wife of Harold L. Seltzer, Jr.

Born, December 27, 1956, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Elwood and Kathleen (Churico) Manning.

Melissa was employed with Community General Hospital for 25 years, working in all different capacities, ending as an inpatient coder. Subsequently, she was employed in the same capacity with St. Joseph Medical Center for one year, and then Reading Hospital for 15 years, where she last worked in 2013.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, is her son, Daniel Seltzer, fiancé of Shannon Heffner of Sinking Spring; and her daughter, Stephanie, wife of Mark Larrick of Reading.

Also surviving is her sister, Diane Manning of Reading.
