Michael Matz

Michael Matz passed away on September 20, 2020 in his Fleetwood residence. 

Michael was the son of Eugene Matz of Pottstown and Velden Hangey of Boyertown.

He was most recently employed at the Rose Corporation of Reading. 

Along with his parents, Michael will be deeply missed by his brother Rich Matz of Douglassville, his sister Colleen Matz of Phoenixvile and his devoted friends Brie and David Kanter.

More Joy Than Grief

He drives me nuts at times, for sure, But even so, I have to say That any anger found its cure When he first spent the night away. His unslept bed depressed my soul, The whole house seemed so cold and grim. I have to say that, on the whole, I guess I've gotten used to him. So run me ragged, little boy, before you grow and disappear. You give me much less grief than joy; This is no home when you aren't here.
