Nancy L Klatt

Nancy Lou Klatt (Majeske), 89, of Boyertown, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 3rd, 2024. She was born on January 22, 1935, in Bay City, Michigan. 

Nancy was an extraordinary women who dedicated her life to her family and education. She raised three children while pursuing her teaching degree part-time. Nancy's passion for teaching led her to a fulfilling career as an elementary teacher at Oley Valley Elementary School from 1975 to 1998. 

In her free time, Nancy enjoyed reading, traveling, cross-stitching, baking, canning, and most of all, exercising... ok, anyone who knew mom knew that last part isn't true but I know she'd laugh at it. She had an incredibly inquisitive nature, a quirky sense of humor and could do a darn good tree frog imitation. 

Nancy is survived by her son, Arthur H. Klatt, daughter Dorrie L. Klatt, granddaughters Ashley J. Klatt and Maya Hope Linton-Klatt and great-granddaughter Emma A. Thomas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur F. Klatt, daughter Wendy L. Klatt-Belcher, parents Henry & Martha Majeske, brother Milton Majeske, sisters Dale Majeske-McCleery and Betty Majeske-Hendricks. 

A celebration of life for Nancy will be held at a later date to honor the remarkable life she lived. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
