Patricia Ann (Reber) Kazmar, 84, of Lansdale PA, died peacefully January 8, 2024 under the excellent care of the Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. Born in Reading PA on July 3, 1939, she was a life-long resident of Mohnton and was the daughter of the late Vera L. Spang and Ralph A. Reber. She was raised by her grandparents the late Lizzie M. (Weitzel) and Harry H. Eckenroth. She has 2 half-sisters Susan Diefenderfer of Quakertown PA and the late Bonnie Miller of Slatington PA. Engaged during her senior year at Gov. Mifflin HS, she married her high school sweetheart Theodore P. Kazmar, Jr. (1937-2016) in 1957, divorced in 1991. She had two sons, Kurt H. Kazmar (1961-2016) of Mohnton and is survived by Kris A. Kazmar of Harleysville, husband of Janella.
Pat or Patty, as her friends called her, was a great and loving mother, President of the Kenhorst and Berks County Women’s Clubs, volunteer at St. John’s Lutheran Church, beloved vocational teacher, bus tour guide, medical office manager, flower gardener and delicious cook and baker. She will never be forgotten for her wonderful French cooking and baking, which were inspired by Julia Child and Bon Appetit magazine. She created a wonderful and delicious home! As many friends wrote in her high school yearbooks, she was a pretty, stylish, cute, funny and fun “kid” and lady. She will be greatly missed!
A private burial with immediate family will be held in the spring at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reading PA. Cremation Society of Berks County, Inc.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation can be made in Patricia’s name.
