Richard F. “Fred” Radka, Sr.

Richard “FRED” F. Radka, Sr, 85 of Reading passed away December 3, 2022 at Reading Hospital.
Fred is predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Doris (Damato) Radka.
Fred was a member of Local 420 Steamfitters Union of Philadelphia.
Fred was a loving father and grandfather, loved playing the lottery, fishing at his cabin, and was an avid Trap shooter.
He also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas to the casinos with his wife Doris before their health declined.
Fred is Survived by his son, Richard Radka, Jr., husband to Beth, Muhlenberg; his daughter Kathie (Radka) Snelling, wife to Phillip, Atlanta, GA; and son Michael Radka, husband to Sherry, Bernville.
Fred is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Zakary Radka, husband of Kristen; Lauren Khawly; Kyle Khawly; Dylan Radka, husband of Christine; and Skylar Radka.
And two great grandchildren: Logan Radka and Jay Radka.
Fred is predeceased by his parents, Frank & Cecilia Radka, also a great grandson Julian Khawly.
In addition, Fred is also survived by his siblings: brother Gregory Radka of Wernersville; sister Susan Gasman, wife of Paul, Oro Valley, AZ; brother Dennis Radka husband to Karen of Leesport;
sister Cynthia Starnes, wife of Robert of Salem, SC; brother Francis Radka, husband of MaryJo of Mohnton.
Burial will be private.
A Celebration of life for Fred & Doris Radka will be held at a later date.
