Richard Rippel

On the evening of February 8th, 2021, Richard Allan Rippel, 68, of Reading, PA, passed away peacefully at Reading Hospital in the presence of his loved ones.

Richard was born on December 22nd, 1952 to John Edgar Rippel and Doris Virginia (Wager) Rippel, and was the youngest of five children. He grew up in Monocacy Station, PA and spent most of his life in Pennsylvania. He lived in Reading at the time of his passing. 

Richard had three children - Joshua (Cailyn), Kailin (Kenneth) Fortna, and Kristen, and six grandchildren - Lucas, Wyatt, Kenny, Kyle, Maci, and Miles. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jack. He is survived by his sisters Edna (David) Hipple, Sandra (Ralph) Zerr, and Barbara (Terry) Eby. 

Richard’s family will have a private gathering in his home to celebrate his life and tell “dad jokes” in his honor.
