Robert C. Hefelfinger, 82, of Douglassville, PA, passed away, peacefully, at his home on August 21, 2020.
Born, April 21, 1938, he was a son of the late Krusin Edwin and Florence (Batley) Hefelfinger.
He graduated from Phoenixville High School in 1958. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1960-1964, where he was stationed in Germany as a lineman.
Robert was employed by B.F. Goodrich until they closed and retired from Cooks Specialties in East Greenville.
He loved to bowl in leagues and tournaments, local state and national.
Robert was also an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and enjoyed playing basketball and softball, which he played on a church league.
Surviving is his wife, Kathryn (Hoffecker) Hefelfinger of 60 years; his daughter, Constance (Hefelfinger), wife of Darwin B. Murphy of Birdsboro; a son, Edward R. Hefelfinger of Douglassville; a sister, Ruth (Hefelfinger) McHugh of Georgia; and two sisters-in-law, Joyce H. Oehrli and Shirley H., wife of Bob Houck of Georgia.
Robert was a very proud grandfather of seven grandchildren: Jacob McCann, Zoey (Hefelfinger) Ellingwood, Shane Smith, Thane Smith, Melissa Robert, Ashley Hale, and Mercedes Murphy, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his brother, William Hefelfinger, wife of Marcy (Valero) Hefelfinger, and a sister, Hazel (Hefelfinger) Potettee.
