Roger W. Readinger

Roger W. Readinger passed away on November 8th, 2024 at home after a long illness. 

He was born in 1941 in Oley, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Paul and Elsie (Noll) 

Readinger. Surviving children are Allen Readinger and his wife Sharon of Palm Bay, 

Florida; Cathy Walas of Largo, Florida and Sharon Haas with her husband Ed of Reading. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Bradley Readinger, Samantha 

Haas, Ryan Haas. Roger had three brothers, Norman Readinger, Lee Readinger, 

Harold Readinger. Harold Readinger is the only surviving brother.

Roger graduated in 1959 Oley High School and enjoyed music. He played the 

accordion in the band The Melody Notes, with his brothers for many years. Roger was an electrician by trade and worked for Norm’s Electronics and then East Penn 

Manufacturing before retiring in 2019. He was also a member of the Reading North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since the 1990s.
