Rosalia C. (Koch) Huprich

Rosalia C. Huprich, 74, of Muhlenberg Township, died March 15, 2021 at Penn State Health – St. Joseph, Bern Township.

She was the widow of Joseph Huprich.

Born, in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Francis P. and Matilda A. (Millek) Koch.

Rosalia was a proud graduate of Reading Central Catholic High School, class of 1964.

She greeted her family and friends with her famous “hiya.”

Rosie was an avid NASCAR and Philadelphia Eagles fan.

She enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with family. She loved her “little sunshines” who she spent many hours singing to.

Rosalia was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her three children, Patricia Verchio, Eric Zielinski, and Michael Schaeffer, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Also surviving are her siblings: Francis Koch Jr, Mary Davis, Michele Orlando, Matilda Herzog and Rita Amadio.

Rosie was preceded in death by her two siblings: Christina Gaspari and David Koch.

Cremation Society of Berks County, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
