Sharon Marie Halter

Sharon Marie Halter, 63, of Reading, was called home on April 16th 2024. 
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Anthony J. Norris and Frances Mary Norris. 

Transcending traditional family roles and becoming “mom” to us all, Sharon dedicated her life to family. She was a shining light to all those who knew her. She will be sorely missed by those who have been blessed with her grace and love. 

She was predeceased by father Anthony J Norris and mother Frances M. Norris, sister Maureen (Norris) Crompton and brother Michael J. Norris, and husband Benedict G. Halter. She was also predeceased by various family and friends that she cherished. 

Surviving are sisters Catherine (Norris) Kacprzycki; Collegeville, Melissa (Norris) Quinter, wife of Kevin; Wyomissing, son Anthony Norris; Reading, daughter Shelby Halter, partner of Christopher; Shillington, grandchildren Nicholas and Blaire, her best friend - her nephew Adam, and many other beloved nieces, nephews and extended family. 

A memorial gathering will be private at the convenience of the family.
