Sheri Linn Monastero

Sheri Linn Monastero, 68, passed away, Saturday, January 21, 2023 in her home.

She was born September 6, 1954 in Jackson, MI.  She was the widower of Thomas Monastero who passed away on December 8, 2011.

She was also predeceased by her parents, Don & Joyce Prough, and her brothers, Tom Prough & Dan Prough.

She was a 1972 graduate of Methacton High School.  She also graduated from North Montco Technical School for cosmetology.  She lived most of her childhood in Collegeville, PA. She moved to Reading as an adult and lived there until her death.  She worked for Santander Bank until she retired in 2020.  She loved to travel with her best friend, Josie White, especially near the water.  She was a loving sister and aunt who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving are her sister, Brenda Noalis, wife of Charles Noalis, brother, Gar Prough, husband of Renate Prough, sister-in-law, Wendy Prough, nieces, Stephanie Reimert, wife of Tim Reimert, Colleen Prough, partner to Kevin Hartman, Amy Prough, and Kaleigh Prough, nephews, Bill Verna, Ryan Prough, husband of Amy Prough, Charles Noalis, husband of Maria Noalis, Rob Noalis, partner to LaVada Coates, great-nieces, Shelby Verna, Grace Verna, Caroline Reimert, Isabella Noalis, and Mila Vazquez, great-nephews, Nathan Vazquez, partner to LinMorrison, Jacob Reimert, CJ Noalis, Jaxson Noalis, Bodhi Hartman, and Kai Vazquez and aunt, Emily Wance, wife of Perry Wance.  She is also survived by several cousins and second cousins from Altoona, PA.

A memorial in her honor will be planned at a later date.  Family and friends will be notified.
