“Grief is the price we pay for love.”

The family of Tammy Jane Abraham would like to announce her loss following a lengthy battle with an insidious form of cancer. She was a beautiful, intricate woman - overflowing with creativity and love.

Tammy was most at home in her garden or with a paintbrush in hand, and loved her children with all she had. She parlayed her creative abilities into the creation of Amber Hill Herbal, from which she made and sold bath and body products.

She found love with her husband, Paul “Skip” Abraham, as well as another opportunity to be a mother to her step-son, Ben Abraham, who devastatingly predeceased her.

Tammy loved to laugh and became quite the Eagles fan over the years. She passed her love of growing things and of a good action movie onto her daughters, Nicki Rioux and Ashley Serfass.

She is also survived by her son, Adam Serfass, sisters Kathy Kohler and Bonnie Kline, sister-in-law Cindy Gimont and brother-in-law, Terry Abraham. Tammy was also predeceased by brothers Charles “Buddy” Jarrett and John Smith. She spoiled incessantly her grandchildren, Noah Mountain and Marceline Serfass and her hugs and chocolate milk recipe will certainly be missed.

There will be a remembrance of life at a date to be determined as Tammy did not wish for tears to be shed, rather, laughs to be shared. There is, and always will be, a void where her soul once resided. Rather than grieve what has been lost, we choose to rejoice in all that was. We will see you again one day, you remarkable woman, and love you to the moon and back.
