Theresa M. Kaylor (née Splane), age 61, of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania passed away after a brief illness, on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
She was born in Wilmington, Delaware on May 13, 1964, daughter of the late Francis (Pat) Splane and Ann Splane (née Boyle). After moving a couple times when she was very young, Theresa grew up in Chambers Hill, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She was born two months early and overcame many obstacles to live and enjoy life. While growing up, Theresa had many interests and talents including drawing, acting and singing. She was active in church and the local Youth for Christ.
She graduated from Central Dauphin East High School, Harrisburg PA, and then from Harrisburg Area Community College with a para-legal degree. She later added an accounting degree from McCann School of Business and Technology.
Theresa remained active in her church, including teaching a Sunday School class.
She married the late Benjamin Kaylor in 1984. She is survived by her four children, Meghan McClintock, Joshua (Christina Baynum), Jamin, and Christopher; her grandchildren, Thomas, Alexander, Legacy (“Lacy”), Brodyn, Izabella, Chelsea, Jozephine (“Jozie”), Jazmin, Anastazia (“Anna”), and Zuzu; and her siblings Kathleen (Osburn), Timothy , Richard, and Michelle (Buehlmann).
Special thanks to the medical staff at Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital for their patient and compassionate care.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, from 10AM-11AM at Bethesda Reedsville Evangelical Congregational Church, with funeral services at 11AM, then interment. Afterwards, there will be a reception in the church community room.
