Thomas Matthew Barnes

Thomas M Barnes, of Tel Hai in Honey Brook Pa, has passed away at age 95, following a brief illness.

He was born Sept 30, 1929 in New Castle Pa, the son of Thomas Galloway Barnes and Louise Thomas Barnes.

He is predeceased by his wife of 69 years, Arlene Carlson Barnes, and they resided primarily in McKeesport PA. 

He is survived by his daughter Nancy Pavlischek (Keith) of Annapolis MD, sons Dan (Kathy) of Downingtown PA, and Tom Jr of Nashua NH, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Tom worked as an accountant at Teledyne Firth Sterling in McKeesport, PA, retiring from Teledyne Corp in Nashville TN as Financial Controller, and returned to McKeesport PA.

Tom was an avid fisherman, faithful to his family and his church, First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport, where he served many roles including Sunday school teacher, treasurer and elder over the years. 

Services were held privately for immediate family.
