Thomas Roland Mull, 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at his home in Birdsboro with his wife,Tricia by his side. He was born on April 9, 1942 in Reading, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Mull and Myrle (Sheidy). Following his graduation from Reading High School in 1960, Tom enlisted in the US Army, where he was stationed in Chitose, Japan and married Tricia (Nakamatsu) in December of 1964. He served in the Army for 6 years achieving numerous high level security clearances last working for the State Department in Washington DC. From there he worked as a USPS Postal Clerk at the Southeastern General Mail Facility for over 46 years and was recognized for his dedicated service and exemplary attendance. Tom was an avid hockey fan and would watch any game he could while rooting for the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also had a lifelong interest in the history of AM radio, often recalling radio personalities, frequencies and call letters from stations he could listen to on the east coast. Tom is survived by his wife Tricia and sons, Kirk (wife Jennifer) and Eric (wife Kelly), in addition to grandchildren Morgan, Sydney, Madison, Justin, John and great-granddaughter Elsie. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
