Tina Soliman-Hussein

Tina Marie Soliman-Hussein (Shingle), 59 passed surrounded by her loved ones at Reading Hospital on November 27, 2024. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Ralph Shingle and Dolores Keehn.

Tina worked in the healthcare field and committed her career to caring for others. During her life Tina was also a president of her local Union advocating for workers’ rights.

She is survived by her children, Brandi Morales, Jennifer Kovacs wife of Elek Kovacs, Sean Nguyen partner of Maggie Cassidy, Krystal Nguyen partner of William Allen, Le-Anne Nguyen partner of Seth Cox, Laura Casteneda, and Ibrahim Soliman-Hussein.

 Other survivors include two sisters, Cecelia, widow of James E. Motacki, and Ann, wife of Roy Timberlake, and one brother Joseph F. Jr husband of Patricia Keehn.

She was predeceased by her sister Karen K. Koch, late wife of Kerry A. Koch.

She will be deeply missed and continuously honored. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Animal Rescue League of Berks County.
