Walter David Prutzman, 66, of Oley died September 27th 2024 in his home.
Born December 5th, 1957 in Reading, Pa. He was the son of the late William C. Prutzman and Emily Gift Prutzman.
He was the loving husband of Trudy I. Prutzman, whom he married on April 5th, 1980 of 44 years.
He was employed at Gotwals Trucking in Oley, Boyertown Planing Mill Co., and Dana Corporation in Reading. The last 24 years he was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Penn Dot in Temple, Pa. He retired in December 2022.
Walter was the loving father to two children; Rick David Prutzman of Gilbertsville; Christina Lynn Angstadt, partner of Marcus Warmkessel of Blandon.
He is also survived by two step grandchildren: Rowan and Ariella Warmkessel and a sister, Linda M. Schlegel.
He loved spending time with his children and step grandchildren. Things he enjoyed doing included driving his ’55 Chevy Bel Air and ’62 Chevy Impala. He also enjoyed fishing, listening to music, camping, working on cars with his son, feeding and watching the birds, wood working, and spending time with his best feline friend, Bailey Boy. He loved life by enjoying every single day.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
