Wanda Enoch Obituary

Wanda L. Enoch, 88, of Exeter Twp., passed peacefully in Reading Hospital on March 12, 2024 with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Paul W., on October 12, 2021. They were married on September 20, 1958 in Elysburg, PA. Born in Mahoning Township, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Evelyn Glenn Miller (Fahringer). Wanda graduated from Ralpho Township High School and was a member of St. Paul’s E.C. church in Reading. She worked for various companies over the years, including The Elyad, Horrigan Loan Company, Schmeck’s Grocery Store, Redner’s Markets, Weidner Products, and Sharpoint. In “retirement” Wanda operated her “Produce Porch” from her home on Friedensburg Road in Pennside, bringing Lancaster County produce to her suburban customers and friends for many years. She was an avid Philly sports fan, faithfully following her Phillies, 76ers, and Eagles. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she most enjoyed gathering with family, hosting extended family reunions at a local park, or the annual sibling vacation in Wildwood, NJ. Wanda is survived by her children, Matthew S. and wife Donna, and Anita M., wife of Todd Hess. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John W. (wife Brittany) and Julie M. Stout, Ryan C. Enoch, and great grandchildren Acasia Jaeger, Braydon, Lydia and Oliver Stout, and numerous nieces and nephews. Also, surviving is Wanda’s brother Dean, Nesquehoning, PA. Wanda was predeceased by siblings Marie, Joyce, Mervyn, John (Jack), and Charles. A private burial will be scheduled at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League of Berks County at 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508 or www.berksarl.org.
