Wanda Mae (Flicker) Levengood, 72 of Fayetteville Pa entered eternal rest surrounded by her family and loved ones on November 6. 2025. Wanda leaves behind a loving husband of 50+ years, Timothy D Levengood, a son Tim Levengood of Reading, a daughter, Vicki Dry of Macungie and her two beautiful doggies, Amber and Scarlet. Wanda was OVER the moon proud of her two strong and handsome grandsons Gary A. Kiebach, III of Philadelphia: Mayson M Dry of Macungie and her two beautiful and talented granddaughters Caitlyn R. Levengood of Reading: Carli L. Dry of Philadelphia.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Anna (Hart) Flicker, her sister Donna (Flicker) Miranda and her brother Eugine K. Flicker. Wanda is survived by her brother Barry Flicker and his wife Paula: her sister Darlene Schutt, wife of Thomas Schutt and her sister Bonnie Hart. Wanda was loved and adored by all her wonderful nieces and nephews.
To know Wanda was to really really love her. She worked at the Pottstown Training Center/DEC in Pottstown for nearly 30 years. She worked with and empowered individuals with Intellectual Disabilities to achieve their dreams of working. She was always eager to help them establish meaningful lives, with a sense of community and purpose. Shortly after her retirement Wanda and Tim moved to the family cabin in the mountains, Fayetteville Pa. They could be found taking long weekends and traveling in the RV visiting family and friends up and down the east coast. When at home, Wanda spent most of her time dedicating her talents to her community through faith and fellowship. Wanda was an amazing cook and had a flare for fashion. She loved to get her nails done and enjoyed going to the casinos. Wanda enjoyed spending time in her garden and soaking up the summer sun and mountain air.
Wandas’ family, friends and faith were just a few things that made OUR Wanda WONDERFUL. Please join us for the Celebration of Life ceremony at her place of worship on January 3rd at 2pm at Mountain Top Ministries, 200 Church Rd, Orrtanna Pa. 17353.
